Contact Centre Consultant

Location: Ringwood, Hampshire
Salary: 29,184 OTE (12.30 per hour)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: Monday-Friday (8:30am-7pm), Saturday (8:30am-5pm), Sunday (9am-5pm) - rotating shift pattern with 2 weeks' notice
Contract: Temporary on going



About the Role

We're recruiting for a Contact Centre Consultant to join a leading, customer-focused brand at their multi-channel Contact Centre based in Ringwood. You'll be part of a passionate team that takes pride in delivering exceptional service and 100% customer satisfaction across every interaction.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a genuine love for helping people. You'll engage with customers across phone, email, live chat, and social media-handling orders, product recommendations, and resolving queries with professionalism and care.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service across multiple communication channels including phone, email, live chat, and social media.

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, responding to customer queries and proactively resolving issues.

  • Support with order processing, delivery updates, and product recommendations.

  • Achieve individual and team targets for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture by supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge.

  • Maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies and GDPR requirements.



Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confident, professional, and empathetic approach to customer interactions.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and channels simultaneously.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt tone and language to suit different audiences.

Desirable:

  • Experience within a contact centre or customer service environment.

  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Elucid, Vocalcom, or similar).

  • Understanding of GDPR and data protection compliance.

  • Experience coaching or mentoring team members.



Training & Support
