Junior Cad Technician

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering and transport consultancy working on a wide range of exciting projects from small residential developments to large mixed-use schemes.

As a Junior CAD Technician, you’ll support the engineering team in producing high-quality drawings and designs for highways and drainage projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced engineers, and build your career in civil and infrastructure design.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Use AutoCAD to produce drawings and layouts for highway and drainage schemes
• Assist with the design of vehicle accesses, junctions, and visibility splays
• Carry out swept path analysis to check vehicle movements
• Update and revise drawings as designs develop
• Work closely with engineers and other members of the design team

What We’re Looking For

• Some experience using AutoCAD (college, university, or work experience)
• A basic understanding of highway or civil engineering design
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• Organised, motivated, and able to manage your workload
