I am currently recruiting on behalf of a medium sized housing developer based within Ringwood, Hampshire. They produce a fantastic product and have an excellent reputation within this sector. They normally produce between 50-150units per site and have a lot of new sites starting very soon in the coming months. They now seek a Quantity Surveyor to join on a permanent basis. The salary on offer would be between 60k-75k p/a DOE and level of surveying operating at.

You will be employed as a Quantity Surveyor working 5 days a week in an office-based role. You will be expected to work Monday-Friday assisting the commercial team and the other contracted surveyors within the business. Day to day duties will include: financial management, financial reports, settlement of accounts, looking at variations, looking at valuations with both client and sub-contractors and overall cost reporting and budgeting.

You must have previous experience as a surveyor within the housing development sector. You must have a qualification in surveying or an educational equivalent to be considered for the role. You must be approachable, adaptable, hardworking and reliable. They need somebody who can it the ground running, so somebody who can identify issues and problem solve as best as possible.
