Transport Planner
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner, from Graduate level up to Senior to join a growing transport and engineering consultancy team. This role offers involvement in a wide variety of projects, ranging from small residential developments to complex, large-scale mixed-use schemes.
Role responsibilities include:
路Collecting, reviewing, and interpreting transport and traffic data.
路Assessing development sites for accessibility by various transport modes.
路Supporting senior team members in producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans.
路Estimating trip generation using TRICS software.
路Completing junction capacity modelling with industry-standard tools such as Junctions 9 and LinSig.
路Carrying out site inspections.
路Coordinating with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
Essential skills and qualifications:
路Degree-level education in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or Geography.
路Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
路Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
路Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
路Strong organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage and prioritise workloads.
路High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
