Transport Supervisor, Ringwood, £34,000

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Transport Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our client’s transport department. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the driving team, ensuring they are fully equipped to provide outstanding service to their customers while maintaining compliance with transport and health and safety regulations.

As Transport Supervisor, you will:

  • Plan, organise, and manage the daily transport requirements of the business.
  • Optimise vehicle routing and loading to maximise efficiency and uphold excellent customer service standards.
  • Monitor fleet maintenance, servicing, and MOT requirements.
  • Track and improve operational performance using KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with transport and health and safety legislation.
  • Lead and support the driving team through regular briefings and development initiatives.

As Transport Supervisor, you will have:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of transport regulations and best practices.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
