Our client, a well known manufacturing business based near Mansfield are looking to appoint a manufacturing manager who will be responsible for a fast paced manufacturing unit with a team of circa 50. The successful manufacturing manager will have exposure to fast paced manufacturing environments, experience within FMCG would bode well for a role like this. A proven track record of implementing continuous improvement strategies is essential and the ability to ensure KPI’s and SOPs are met.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure at all times the Production lines are in full working order
  • Management of a large production team
  • Carry out daily team meetings
  • Provide training, coaching and support to staff
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean strategies
  • Execute production plans efficiently
  • Comply with ISO standards 9001 and 14001
  • Support the senior leadership team and business growth

Skills / Qualification:

  • Six Sigma training / Formal lean training preferred. Thorough knowledge of
  • Past experience of coaching on a one-to-one and group session basis
  • Focused outside of just manufacturing/production and able to make improvements across all facets of the business
