Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Trainee Setters for our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Denby near Ripley. This is a great opportunity for applicants in a Production/Manufacturing background wanting to train as a Setter.
Trainee Setter Hours:
- Static Nights 6pm - 6am on a 4 on 4 off rotation
Trainee Setter Pay:
- Starting Pay Rate: 14.08 per hour to start plus 21.12 per hour for overtime
The job roles and responsibilities of the Trainee Setter include:
- Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
- Quality inspection
- Heavy lifting/pulling/pushing up to 25KG
- Packing and wrapping UPVC profiles
- Labelling profiles
- Loading profiles
- General warehouse duties
- Training to run the machinery, including feeding in, slitting and packing.
Key skills Required:
- Ability to problem solve
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication and listening skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to self-motivate
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially the uPVC industry would be beneficial but not essential
- Requires an understanding of the entire production process
Experience
- Previous experience of working in manufacturing is essential
- A strong Production background is essential
