Temporary Purchasing Coordinator Ripley | £13.50 per hour | Full Time | 4 Month Temporary Opportunity

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Temporary Purchasing Coordinator to join a well-established business based in Ripley.

This is a full-time, office-based position for an initial 4 month contract, offering an immediate start. This role is perfect for someone with strong purchasing or procurement administration experience who thrives in a fast paced environment and is confident liasing with suppliers, orders, and stock requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately and in line with company procedures
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and confirm delivery schedules
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment as required
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records
  • Resolve any delivery or invoicing issues in a timely manner
  • Work closely with internal teams to meet operational needs
  • Provide general administrative support to the procurement function

Requirements

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confident dealing with suppliers and resolving issues
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
