The Opportunity
If you're an experienced Electrician looking for something more than just installation work, this is it.
We're working with a multi award winning lighting specialist recognised across the UK for designing and delivering luxury lighting control systems in ultra high net worth residential and commercial environments.
They're looking for an Electrician who's confident on the tools but ready to develop into a Project Manager, someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving technical challenges, and wants to build a long term career in a specialist, design led business.
You'll be trained in advanced smart lighting systems (Lutron and more) and mentored by experienced project professionals. This is a clear, structured pathway from installation into project delivery and leadership.
The Role
You'll start as a hands on Installer, working on prestigious lighting and shading projects across the UK.
Over time, you'll gain experience in project coordination, client management, and lighting control programming, progressing naturally into a Project Management position.
Your day to day will include:
- Installing lighting control panels, cabling, and shading systems to exacting standards.
- Assisting with programming and commissioning (full training provided).
- Supporting senior engineers and project managers on-site.
- Solving installation and technical issues proactively.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal design teams.
- Take ownership of smaller installations as your skills grow.
- Helping to plan materials, schedules, and documentation.
- This role involves UK wide travel, with 3-4 nights away from home per month, and requires a Full UK Driving Licence.
About You
- Proven hands on Electrical Installation experience (qualified or practically competent).
- Confident with wiring, fault finding, schematics, and working to a high standard.
- Experience in high end residential or commercial projects.
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Great communicator and confident dealing with clients.
- Ambitious and eager to step up into Project Management.
- Experience with Lutron, Rako, Dali, or even systems like Control4 is beneficial but not essential; full training is provided.
