The role reports into: Senior Collections and Legal Manager
Role Overview:
The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate are to:
- Review and proactively manage high-value exposures across the Group, ensuring risks are monitored and effective strategies are in place to protect the business.
- Confidently lead face-to-face meetings with customers, asking the right (and often challenging) questions to gain a full understanding of their position.
- Carry out detailed business reviews, clearly documenting findings and presenting well thought-through recommendations.
- Provide expert guidance across the business, including restructuring facilities and advising on the best course of action for transactions over 50k.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders such as recovery agents and other industry experts, working collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes.
- Manage relationships with external solicitors, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and successful case resolution.
Requirements:
- Good negotiation & communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong financial analysis skills
- 5+ years' experience within financial services industry
- Financial industry expertise with a good in-depth knowledge of regulation and legal requirements.
