Our Client has a requirement for a Senior CS&A Technician, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington
Role Purpose:
To provide high quality civil, structural, and architectural (CS&A) design services across the full project lifecycle. This role supports complex nuclear infrastructure projects and involves delivering detailed designs, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring BIM and CDM compliance within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Produce and deliver CS&A design work, inspection reports and site support for nuclear projects.
- Create detailed models and drawings using Autodesk tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure coordinated, integrated design solutions.
- Support the implementation of BIM processes across projects.
- Mentor and guide junior technicians and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, CDM regulations and ISO documentation.
- Support tender inputs, business development, and contribute to lessons learned initiatives.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in CS&A software and detailing practices.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
Essential:
- HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience across the full design lifecycle.
- Proficient in CAD tools and BIM methodologies.
- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural drawing standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
- Membership of a relevant engineering or technical institute.
- Demonstrable experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries.
