On behalf of my client, a leading manufacturing business based in Greater Manchester I am pleased to present the opportunity for a Management to work on a long term contract basis.
This role is offered on a 18 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave based in Heywood, OL11.
The role is to complete and communicate the company's financial reporting requirement; this includes all statutory, internal and corporate reporting and covers accounting, tax and general management information.
You will be responsible for:
- Production of the monthly management accounts and management reports
- Analysing and reporting stock levels by program
- Monitoring the company stock provisions to ensure carrying stock value is in line with the lower of cost or net realisable value
- Group reporting which includes monthly indicators & the HFM financial pack
- Agreeing IC balances and transactions as part of the HFM reporting process
- Analysing 3rd Party receipts by customer and monitoring them against budget and forecast
- Producing required Tax information for Tax
- Ensuring adherence to the control framework. This activity includes monitoring evidence and ensuring compliance by conducting Internal audit checks and completing Control Check lists
- Quarterly and year end auditor co-ordination
- Co-ordinating the company insurances, providing information to insurers where required which includes annual proposal information
- Generating and maintaining the works instructions and process notes across the finance function
- Generating slides and information to support the FD as required
- Undertaking other occasional related activity not specified above requested by the Finance Director
You:
- CIMA Accounting Qualification (Part qualified also considered)
- Good organisation skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft office (by experience; qualification not required)
- Effective telephone skills and e mail writing
- Strong interpersonal skills: to include the ability to work with other members of the team in a constructive way and work together to support other members of the team where applicable
