My client is a construction company based in Rochdale. Due to the current incumbent going on maternity leave they are recruiting this role on a temporary 12 month basis initially in order to fill the role quickly, but the business is growing so there will be a permanent role on offer for the right candidate. As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional accounting duties. This will include managing the purchase ledger from start to finish including payment runs, managing the sales ledger and aspects of credit control, perform bank reconciliations, deal with expenses as well as having some exposure to month end processes. This role will suit a candidate who has experience in a varied transactional role who can hit the ground running. The salary on offer is paying up to £28,000 dependant on experience with hybrid working available as well as free parking onsite.
