Paying £27k + Quarterly Commission (OTE £31k+) - A highly successful and very well-established textiles group with sites across the North of England are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Account Manager to join their sales team within their head office in Rochdale.
This is an office based Internal Sales Account Manager job opportunity working from 8.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. However, they operate in turn a 4pm finish every other Friday.
THE JOB:
Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager and working within the sales team, as Internal Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of existing and established clients as well as supporting the external sales team.
As Internal Sales Account Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Making outgoing calls to existing customers
- Listening to your customers’ requirements, making recommendations and up-selling products
- Building long-term working relationships with your customers to ensure regular repeat business
- Maintaining an awareness of new product development, new initiatives, and all promotional activity to ensure you offer the best service to your customers
- Supporting the External Area Sales Managers with their business development activities
- Liaising with internal departments and external carriers on a day-to-day basis
THE PERSON:
The ideal Internal Sales Account Manager will have previous experience of working in a similar role, managing client accounts, and offering outstanding customer service. However, previous experience is not essential as full training can be given to an applicant with the right attributes.
The ability to listen, build rapport and gain trust to form long lasting client relationships is essential within this role. You will need a consistently positive and enthusiastic manner and endless self-motivation to be highly successful.
Exceedingly good communication skills and the ability to confidently negotiate is also required.
