We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established distribution company with over three depots across the UK, seeking a Junior Accounts Clerk to join their growing finance team based in Rochdale.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual looking to kick-start or further develop a career in finance within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting and processing invoices and purchase orders

  • Assisting with bank and supplier statement reconciliations

  • Supporting both accounts payable and receivable processes

  • Maintaining financial records and updating ledgers

  • Assisting with month-end tasks and reporting

  • General administrative duties to support the accounts team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of GCSEs including Maths and English (AAT qualification desirable but not essential)

  • A basic understanding of accounting processes and principles

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail

  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
