Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) - PMLD Experience Desirable
Location: Rochdale
Pay: 103.95 - 110 per day
Contract: Long-term
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs, with the possibility of working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
The Role:
Supporting children with a range of complex needs in a classroom or 1:1 setting
Assisting with personal care and daily routines where required
Supporting pupils with communication, learning, and sensory activities
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Experience working with children or adults with SEN (PMLD experience highly desirable)
Background in caregiving, healthcare, or similar support roles
Experience or willingness to support personal care, feeding support, and tube feeding
A patient, calm, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
