Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced practitioner seeking a fresh platform, the role offers the flexibility to grow within a supportive and dynamic environment.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Handling a diverse caseload including divorce, finances, children matters, and domestic abuse cases.
  • Advising clients on both legal aid and privately funded matters.
  • Representing clients at court and undertaking your own advocacy where appropriate.
  • Supporting or leading on more specialised or niche areas of family law if applicable.
  • Assisting with the development of junior colleagues and contributing to team initiatives.
  • Playing an active role in business development, networking, and promoting the firm’s services.
  What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in family law (applications considered from NQ to senior level).
  • Strong knowledge across core areas such as children matters, domestic abuse, divorce, and financial remedies.
  • Panel membership or niche expertise (e.g. Child Abduction, International Family Law) is highly desirable.
  • A client-focused approach with excellent communication and advocacy skills.
  • A commercially aware and proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in business development.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience working with both legal aid and private clients is advantageous.
