Civil & Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ – 2 Years PQE)Location: Manchester / HybridSalary: Competitive, Are you a driven and ambitious Solicitor looking to develop your career in both civil and property litigation? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing litigation team, working alongside experienced senior solicitors on a varied and stimulating caseload. With excellent opportunities for progression, you’ll play a key role in shaping and growing the department.  The Role:This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of litigation matters, including landlord and tenant issues, general civil disputes, and occasional insolvency matters. You'll manage your own caseload while contributing to the wider team’s success through collaboration and business development.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a mixed caseload of civil, property, and insolvency litigation matters.
  • Handling landlord and tenant disputes, possession proceedings, and general litigation files with appropriate supervision.
  • Supporting senior solicitors on more complex matters and strategic legal work.
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and external professionals to progress matters effectively.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to client queries and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Contributing to the growth and development of the litigation department through networking and business development initiatives.
  • Assisting in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing best practice procedures.
  What We’re Looking For:
  • A qualified Solicitor with up to 2 years’ PQE in civil and/or property litigation.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset, eager to contribute to a collaborative environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle files independently with supervision as needed.
  • Experience dealing directly with clients and managing matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.
