About The Role:
Are you passionate about customer service and safety? We're looking for a motivated Leisure Assistant / Lifeguard to join our dedicated team and help deliver an excellent experience to all visitors at our Leisure Centre.
As a Leisure Assistant / Lifeguard, you will support the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. You will work closely with the Leisure team, be front facing with customers, and help maintain high service standards across the board.
Hours of Work:
37.5 hours per week, worked across 5 days over 7 on a 3-week rolling rota.
Shifts are scheduled flexibly between 06:00 and 22:30.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness across the site and equipment areas according to schedule
- Provide a warm, professional welcome and service to all customers
- Follow and maintain a consistent 15-minute handover process
- Undertake training and development relevant to the role
- Keep external access areas clean and tidy
- Always act as a role model for company values
- Carry out duties according to daily schedules and service agreements
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory control when required
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and uniform appearance
About You:
- Valid NPLQ Lifeguard Qualification
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Strong swimming ability and good physical fitness
- A team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, alert, and positive with a strong sense of responsibility
