Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tenant Liaison Officer to join our client’s team, working closely with tenants and stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of planned and responsive maintenance works within Rochdale Borough Housing. You will play a key role in ensuring tenant satisfaction, resolving queries, and supporting managers in the execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Liaise with tenants before works commence, keeping them informed of scope and timescales.

  • Investigate and resolve first-stage complaints where possible.

  • Support project managers and site teams in delivering maintenance and improvement works with minimal disruption.

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping.

  • Undertake risk assessments and ensure health & safety compliance.

  • Collate and provide statistical data and progress updates to management.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and tenant engagement.

  • Ensure systems are kept up to date with accurate customer information.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Ability to pass a DBS check.

  • Experience working with vulnerable people in the community.

  • Strong understanding of housing law and housing management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Tenant Liaison role.

  • Strong customer service background (2+ years).
