Location: Manchester
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum (DOE)
Are you an experienced Site Manager or Project Manager looking for the next step in your career?This is a great opportunity to join a reputable main contractor specialising in high-quality refurbishment and restoration projects across Greater Manchester.
TS Recruitment is proud to partner with a long-established contractor who has been delivering exceptional work in the construction sector for over 30 years. As the business grows, they're looking for a hands-on Projects Manager to support and eventually take over leadership responsibilities from the Managing Director.
What's on Offer:
£45,000-£55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Car allowance or company vehicle (van or car)
28 days holiday, including bank holidays (increasing with tenure)
Pension scheme - 5% employee / 3% employer contribution
Projects primarily within Greater Manchester
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee 2-3 projects simultaneously
- Work closely with the MD and gradually take on increased responsibility
- Attend client cost and progress meetings
- Manage Site Managers and Supervisors
- Order materials with commercial awareness
- Lead weekly labour coordination meetings
- Write programmes, risk assessments, and method statements
- Visit sites regularly, offering advice and value engineering insights

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager
- Competence in writing construction programmes
- Strong IT and numeracy skills
- Career-focused individual ready for progression
- Full UK driving licence
