Your new role:
Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the commercial success of projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with project teams and subcontractors. The role offers scope for long-term growth within a stable and supportive business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full commercial lifecycle of fit-out and interior projects

  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities

  • Conducting cost analysis and reporting on project performance

  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure value for money

  • Monitoring project variations and producing accurate valuations

  • Preparing and negotiating final accounts

  • Supporting the site team with commercial advice and cost control

  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms and company procedures

  • Attending site meetings and contributing to project planning

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or interior fit-out sector

  • Strong knowledge of dry-lining, SFS, ceilings, and associated trades is highly desirable

  • Excellent negotiation, numerical, and analytical skills

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement methods

  • Proficient with measurement and estimating software/tools

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Full UK driving licence
