Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Adult Social Worker to join our client as a Advanced Practitioner/Deputy Manager based in Rochdale.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Provide professional leadership within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), supervising council-employed social workers and assessment workers while maintaining a small, complex caseload.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of statutory adult social care and secondary mental health services, delivering assessments, reviews, and care planning in line with legislative frameworks.
  • Lead on statutory duties including safeguarding enquiries, mental capacity assessments, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), Court of Protection applications, and social circumstance reports.
  • Offer expert guidance to multi-disciplinary team members, ensuring the delivery of local authority responsibilities within a health-led CMHT structure.
  • Receive professional supervision from the Social Care and AMHP Manager and contribute to the ongoing development of integrated, person-centred mental health practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
