Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage our payroll processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Sage payroll software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Process payroll on a regular schedule, including calculating wages, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Collaborate with human resources to manage employee benefits and deductions effectively.
  • Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies or trends that may require attention.
  • Prepare reports for management regarding payroll statistics and compliance issues.
  • Assist with accounts payable functions as needed, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  • Provide support for audits related to payroll processes and documentation.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role within a financial or human resources department.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar systems is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and CIS.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Ability to analyse complex data sets and generate actionable insights for management decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with employees across various levels of the organisation.
