We are seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias for a full-time position at a British food producer's engineering site in Rochester, Kent.
The role involves supporting maintenance activities on various machinery, including flow wrappers and pick and place robots, within a team of 8 engineers.
Initially, the schedule is Monday to Friday days, transitioning to a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern with varied hours during peak periods.
The salary for this position is a flat £50,000, with opportunities for occasional overtime.
Candidates must have an electrical apprenticeship, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues.

We are working with British food producer at their engineering site in Rochester, Kent, supporting them with the hire of a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical bias) on a full time basis. Joining a team of 8 other Engineers and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will support maintenance activities on a range of machinery, including flow wrappers, pick and place robots, and size grading machines for their apples and pears produce. Starting initially on a Monday – Friday days pattern to integrate with the team, you will then move to a 4 on 4 off rotating shift comprising of 07:00-19:00 and 12:00pm - 12:00am. During peak periods, shifts may change to 09:00-21:00 Salary available is at a flat £50,000 plus occassional overtime. Experience required:

An electrical apprenticeship served (City & Guilds), HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition or similar
A strong electrical basis with mechanical skills
Ability to use fault finding techniques, react quickly to faults and breakdowns, communicating clearly with affected parties and working efficiently to fix the issue.
