Do you have experience working with pupils who need additional help to achieve their full potential?

Academics are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a Special Resource Provision (SRP) in Medway. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.



The Role

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils with SEN within the SRP

  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and adapting learning materials to meet individual needs

  • Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development

  • Promoting inclusion and ensuring every child has access to an engaging and positive learning experience

  • Working collaboratively with the SENCO and external professionals



The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential)

  • Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, and other learning needs

  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting young people

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for making a positive difference in education
