About the Role.

We are seeking a dedicated Sports Coach who can inspire, motivate and support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and behavioural challenges. In this unique role, you will use sport, movement and structured physical activity as a tool to help students develop confidence, self-regulation, communication and resilience-both in and beyond the classroom.

You will work closely with the SEND and pastoral teams to support students not only in PE lessons, but also across academic subjects, helping them engage positively with their learning.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver inclusive sports sessions tailored to individual needs.

  • Support students with learning difficulties and behavioural challenges through structured routines and positive relationships.

  • Assist in academic lessons, helping students stay engaged, regulated and focused.

  • Implement behaviour support strategies and contribute to personalised learning plans.

  • Track progress and provide feedback to teachers, SENCOs and parents.

  • Encourage participation, teamwork and personal development.

  • Promote a safe, supportive and encouraging environment at all times
