About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role within the build team, overseeing the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of construction projects. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initial conception through to completion and handover, ensuring seamless delivery.
- Promote and enforce the highest standards of Health and Safety on-site.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal management, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Manage and coordinate Site Agents, fostering strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate leadership through effective people management, development, and motivation.
- Take responsibility for project P&L, driving profitability and growth.
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager on School Construction Projects for the DFE
- A relevant degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related field.
- Proven experience in delivering projects within the built environment sector.
- Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
- Strong subcontract management skills, with a sound understanding of commercial and operational aspects.
