School Caretaker required in Romford

At Engage Education Services, we’re currently recruiting for a School Caretaker in Romford. They are looking for an experienced School Caretaker with experience managing a School campus.

The school we are working with are looking for a caretaker to cover during the may half term.

23rd May - 2pm till 6pm

27th - 30th May - 6am till 1pm

About the role

As a School Caretaker, you’ll be an experienced facilities professional who supervises work across the school with both external and internal contractors. You will have keyholder responsibilities and will be expected to:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms
  • Empty trash cans and replace liners
  • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
  • Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

About you

  • Experience working within a school environment
  • A valid DBS on the update service
  • Be available to interview and start immediately
