Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader to oversee a team of five coordinators managing social housing-related works. This role requires a confident individual who can provide strong leadership, ensure targets are met, and maintain high standards of operational delivery.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of five responsible for managing social housing contracts.

  • Ensure all works are scheduled, monitored, and completed within required timeframes.

  • Track team performance and ensure KPIs and service levels are consistently achieved.

  • Produce regular reports and updates to management regarding workflow, productivity, and performance.

  • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

  • Address issues promptly, use initiative, and maintain control of the team's workload.

  • Provide guidance, support, and training where necessary.

  • Foster a positive and productive working environment.



Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role (does not need to be within social housing).

  • Strong leadership skills with the confidence to be assertive when required.

  • Ability to "take the reins," use initiative, and keep the team on track.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable managing targets, reporting, and performance metrics.

  • A proactive, "hands-on" approach and strong work ethic.
