We are seeking a committed graduate teaching assistant to support our students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at our welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Romford. This full-time role involves working closely with pupils who have a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and behavioural challenges. Your support will play a key role in helping these students thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to SEN pupils within a mainstream secondary setting

  • Work closely with teaching staff to adapt lessons and provide inclusive learning opportunities

  • Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies

  • Create a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment

  • Monitor and report student progress to teachers and SENCOs

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

  • Start Date: As soon as possible

  • Pay: £90 to £105 per day, dependent on experience
