Reed Finance are supporting our client with the recruitment of a Finance Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role involves a wide range of financial duties including management accounts preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and month/year-end support. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management on various commercial and operational tasks, providing critical financial insights and support.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare management accounts and assist with budgeting and forecasting to support decision-making processes.
- Provide support during month-end and year-end procedures.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers.
- Handle VAT computations and submissions.
- Supervise payroll processes as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Experience with Sage 200 is highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
