Equation Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an employer seeking a professional and enthusiastic New & Used Car Sales Executive to join their established team based in Harold Wood.

About the role:
As a Sales Executive, you'll be the key contact throughout the customer's car-buying journey - delivering exceptional service, understanding individual needs, and helping customers find the right vehicle. You'll thrive in a busy showroom environment and enjoy building relationships that turn first-time visitors into long-term customers.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 5 days out of 7 (including weekends) from 8:30am to 6:00pm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and engaging customers, both in the showroom and digitally
- Listening and identifying needs to recommend suitable vehicle options
- Conducting test drives and explaining product features and benefits
- Guiding customers through finance, insurance, and part-exchange processes
- Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Staying up to date with new vehicle launches, offers, and promotions
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong consultative selling style with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work flexibly including weekends
- Positive attitude, high energy, and goal-driven
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence
- Automotive sales experience
- Familiarity with car finance and insurance processes
