TimePlan Education is supporting a friendly and supportive primary school located near Romford, seeking a passionate and experienced Out-of-Class Teacher to join their team for two school terms. This is a fixed-term role beginning on Monday 12th May 2025 and ending on Friday 19th December 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL): Take a lead role in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for all pupils, liaising with staff, families, and external agencies as required.
  • PSHE Lead: Plan and support delivery of high-quality Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education across the school, promoting student well-being and resilience.
  • Behaviour Support: Work with staff and pupils to promote a positive behaviour culture, providing targeted intervention where needed.
  • Year 6 Intervention Support: Deliver small group or one-to-one booster sessions in Maths and English to support Year 6 pupils in preparation for SATs and transition to secondary school.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and confident in the DSL role
  • Experience delivering or supporting PSHE and behaviour strategies in a school setting
  • Proven track record of raising attainment through targeted interventions, particularly in Key Stage 2
  • Organised, proactive and approachable, with excellent communication skills
