This role will be predominantly focused on A-Level teaching.
About the Role: As our Permanent Teacher of KS5 Physics, you will play a crucial role in guiding our Sixth Form students through the complexities of the physical world. You will deliver engaging and in-depth lessons at A-Level, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of fundamental physics principles. You will inspire the next generation of physicists and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated Physics lessons primarily at A-Level.
- Cultivate a positive and intellectually stimulating learning environment for advanced Physics students.
- Develop and share high-quality teaching resources and contribute to the KS5 Physics curriculum.
- Track student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and support UCAS applications for Physics-related courses.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and the wider school community.
- Potentially contribute to extracurricular activities that promote an interest in Physics.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong degree in Physics or a closely related field.
