About the Role: As our Permanent Chemistry Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping our students' scientific understanding, particularly in the fascinating world of molecules, reactions, and the elements. You will deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, bringing the subject to life in the classroom and inspiring students to develop strong scientific skills and a lifelong curiosity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated Chemistry lessons across all key stages.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed in Chemistry.
- Develop and share high-quality teaching resources and contribute to the Chemistry curriculum.
- Track student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and implement effective interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and the wider school community.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities that promote an interest in chemistry.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully teaching Chemistry at secondary level, including A-Level.
- A deep passion for Chemistry and the ability to convey its relevance and excitement to students.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
