An outstanding school in Havering is seeking a talented Permanent Teacher of KS5 Physics with a strong expertise in A-Level Physics and the potential to contribute to leadership within the Sixth Form Physics provision. This role will be entirely focused on delivering exceptional A-Level Physics teaching.
Your Role: As a key member of our Science department and Sixth Form team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality Physics education at A-Level. We are looking for someone with the skills and ambition to potentially contribute to the development and leadership of our KS5 Physics curriculum and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons exclusively at A-Level.
- Demonstrate a strong and current understanding of the A-Level Physics specification and assessment.
- Track and analyze student performance at KS5, implementing effective strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and sharing best practice within A-Level Physics.
- Mentor and support students in their A-Level studies and university applications for Physics-related fields.
- Potential to take on leadership responsibilities within KS5 Physics in the future.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- Significant and successful experience teaching Physics exclusively at A-Level is essential.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with leadership potential.
