This fantastic SEN School are on the hunt for an amazing a SEN Teacher to deliver the most enriching lessons to SEN pupils. You will be teaching a range of ASD students, some requiring personal care. The classrooms are made up of students who are working at similar ability regardless of their age. Nestled in a nurturing and inclusive environment with its emphasis on holistic development, this amazing Alternate Referral Provision stands as a beacon of hope and excellence in the SEN community.

Role: SEN Teacher

Contract: Full Time

Location: Barking, East London

Rates: £200-£240 per day

SEN Teacher | Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualised education plans for each student.
  • Set specific, measurable goals tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care.

SEN Teacher | Requirements

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree/Qualifications in Special Education or a related field is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with children with severe SEN and disabilities.
  • Understanding of various disabilities and SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.
