This fantastic SEN School are on the hunt for an amazing a SEN Teacher to deliver the most enriching lessons to SEN pupils. You will be teaching a range of ASD students, some requiring personal care. The classrooms are made up of students who are working at similar ability regardless of their age. Role: SEN Teacher
Contract: Full Time
Duration: Long Term
Location: Barking, East London
Rates: £200-£240 per day
Interview: Paid Trial Days
SEN Teacher | Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualised education plans for each student.
- Set specific, measurable goals tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
SEN Teacher | Requirements
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree/Qualifications in Special Education or a related field is desirable.
- Previous experience working with children with severe SEN and disabilities.
- Understanding of various disabilities and SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.
