SEN Support Worker - Romford

We have a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and committed SEN Support Worker to join our thriving secondary school located in the heart of Romford.

Are you passionate about supporting and shaping the lives of young learners with SEND? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking SEN Support Workers in Romford who are caring, dedicated, and kind-individuals who truly want to make a difference. Experience working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, or other special educational needs is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.

The successful SEN Support Worker will work full-time (5 days per week) to provide students with consistency, helping to foster strong and trusting relationships that are key to pupil development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to students with SEND in both classroom and one-to-one settings

  • Assist students with academic work, emotional regulation, and social skills

  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure tailored support plans are followed

  • Build supportive and trusting relationships with students and staff
