Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading fire safety and façade consultancy based near Romsey, Hampshire, who are looking to recruit an Employers Agent.

The consultancy specialises in managing cladding and internal combustibility risks, defects, and remedial projects. They are currently overseeing the refurbishment of multiple facades on residential buildings, working with a wide range of clients including social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums, and management companies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality Employers Agent and project management services across a diverse client base.

The Role

As an Employers Agent, you will lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring deliverables meet the highest standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to provide expert advice, mitigate risks, and drive project success. The role offers a varied workload and excellent opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects, providing expert advice to achieve client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive solutions and managing expectations.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and the wider project team, managing contractual obligations and documentation.
  • Mentor and lead junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Prepare and review reports, contracts, and project-related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and quality controls.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Employers Agent or in a similar role within the property and construction sector.
  • Candidates from Building Surveying, Project Management, or Quantity Surveying backgrounds are also encouraged to apply if they are committed to working in an Employers Agent role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • MRICS or equivalent chartered status is highly desirable.
