Job Description

Were hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in Romsey!

Youll work in a well-established maintenance team, ensuring smooth plant operations while contributing to continuous improvements in Health & Safety, efficiency, and productivity.

This role would suit someone who is electrically bias, with an 18th Edition qualification and a background in production/ manufacturing or similar.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What youll be doing

  • Planned maintenance & reactive repairs on various production machinery
  • Diagnose & rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
  • Conduct electrical installations, servicing, and repairs
  • Monitor & report equipment malfunctions
  • Log daily progress in the CMMS system
  • Work with 3-phase electrical equipment, motors & starters
  • Assist in new equipment installation & factory improvements
  • Provide electrical support for machine setups & changeovers
  • Maintain high compliance with Health & Safety standards

Hours

Monday-Friday, rotating shifts; 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm

Pay

£40,500 - £46,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) + Monthly Performance Bonuses

Overtime paid at time

Skills/Experience Required

  • Electrical engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds - 18th Edition, BTEC, or equivalent)
  • Strong fault-finding & problem-solving skills
  • Experience with PLC systems (Siemens)
  • Ability to read electrical schematics & technical drawings
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Health & safety awareness
