Finance Manager
Location: Romsey
Salary: circa 45,000-50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hybrid working available after training)
Our client, a well-established organisation that values its employees, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This pivotal role will support the Leadership Team in managing the organisation's financial operations. Key Responsibilities
Annual Budget Preparation
- Prepare the organisation's overall annual budget.
- Complete and submit all required documentation to the General Council.
Annual Financial Audit & Accounts
- Prepare information for the annual audit and financial statements for submission to auditors.
- Produce accounts to trial balance for delivery to auditors/accountants.
- Liaise with auditors throughout the audit process.
- Complete and submit annual accounts to the General Council.
Management Accounts
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the Leadership Team.
Other Duties
- Oversee day-to-day financial transactions in collaboration with the Delegation Treasurer, including international payments and receipts.
- Line manage Finance Assistant(s).
- Support medium- and long-term financial planning.
- Ensure accurate preparation of community accounts.
- Oversee outsourced payroll activities.
- Ensure compliance with commission finance requirements and reporting.
- Assist with insurance renewals and claims.
- Support administration of the investment portfolio.
- Reconcile all bank accounts monthly and annually.
- Undertake any other relevant duties as required.
You will need
- AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) qualified or working towards qualification.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong ability to manage complex financial data with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach.
- Confident IT skills, including MS Excel; experience with Sage is advantageous.
