This exciting opportunity working for a leading food manufacturing business who controls full supply chain, is looking for a Health & Safety Officer to look after compliance, safety and training across the site. 

 Salary £30,000 to £35,000 plus Benefits 

What You Will Do:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk assessments and procedures to ensure the highest safety standards.

- Lead site inspections and compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

- Support and conduct incident investigations and audits, driving continuous improvement.

- Manage site hygiene and training standards, ensuring all staff are equipped with necessary skills.

- Deliver engaging training sessions, toolbox talks, and competency reviews to foster a safety-first culture.

- Collaborate with other safety officers to share best practices and enhance processes.

What You Will Bring:

- An IOSH qualification is essential, with a NEBOSH qualification highly desirable.

- Proven experience in delivering training and fostering staff engagement.

- Strong internal auditing skills and a solid understanding of safety regulations.

- Previous experience in agriculture or a similar environment is advantageous.

- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
