We have a brand new opportunity for a Workshop Assembler our fantastic client based in Romsey. After 3 months our client is giving the opportunity for it's employees to opt to work hours (40) over a 4 day week and take a Friday off!As a Workshop Assembler your role and responsibilities will include:Responsibilities - Workshop Assembler:* To cut and drill aluminium extrusions using a chop saw with a digital stop and pillar drills.* To clean, wrap and pack goods ready for dispatch.* Manufacture technical furniture to specified drawings, working to tight deadlines but keeping with the quality standards.* To work tidily and safely within the workshop environment.* To put forward suggestion for improvement.Skills and Attributes - Workshop Assembler:* Be able to understand and interpret technical drawings, to be able to assemble console aluminium frames).* Experience working with machinery - saw and drill.* Experience in a manufacturing/assembly background preferable.* Previous experience of working with Aluminium is desirable.* Ability to communicate with the Production Team, Production Manager and Design Office.* Strong planner with excellent organisational skills.* Great attention to detail.Required - Workshop Assembler:* Driving License as there will be the opportunity to go out to customer on installations.Person Specification - Workshop Assembler:* A willingness to learn new skills.* Good communication skills.* Ability to work to tight deadlines.* Great attention to detail.Benefits - Workshop Assembler:* 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.* Family days.* Free parking.* Pension.* Family days.* Culture that focuses on the employee.
