Overview
We are seeking an office basedSales Estimatorfor ourSouth Herefordshireclient.
WorkingMonday to Friday7:30 - 16:30
You will be working from drawings and information provided to you using theStrumissteel fabrication software to create quotations for steel framed structures and associated cladding.
Previous experience as a Sales Estimator is essential, within the construction industry is desirable.
Qualities in person will be
- Supportive team player
- Good with numbers so background could appeal to those with an accounts background, estimating, costing
- Good diligence, excellent listener.
- Construction sector to match company profile, whilst quotation heavy working environments will be considered on merit.
- Adherence to record keeping, highly organised, able to prioritise work to the needs of the clients is imperative.
Tasks
- Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure budget adherence.
- Analyse financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of expenditures and financial transactions.
- Support the development of cost control procedures and best practices.
Role can appeal to those with some some costing work for example some estimating experience, accounts assistant/accounts costing experience.
