Interim Accountant
I am recruiting an initial 6-month fixed term contract, with the potential for the contract to extend, for a manufacturer based in Rotherham.
Key Responsibilities:

General ledger financial journals for month end accounts preparation

Overhead review and analysis

Monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations

Assisting in the preparation of month-end cost absorption into stock.

Monthly & Ad hoc reporting for manufacture i.e.: Stock levels / WIP / Labour efficiency

Fixed Assets register maintenance.

VAT returns
-
Overseeing the Monthly Tax analysis.

Payroll processing to monthly deadlines including journal creation

Assist in the maintenance of the payroll and T&A system

Deferred Income analysis and query resolution
-
Overseeing the Foreign Currency, Petty Cash and Bank accounts

Overseeing and providing cover for expenses processing
The salary is 35k-45k p/a depending upon relevant experience. It is on site in Rotherham 5 days per week (flexibility around actual hours of work and this can be discussed pre or during the interview.)
