The Role:
Our client a leading ICP is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. You'll be working on HV/LV and EHV systems, up to 132kV, as part of a collaborative and delivery-focused engineering team. This is a fulltime role based in Yorkshire, offering long-term stability and involvement in high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver electrical designs for HV/LV networks ranging from 11kV to 132kV
- Prepare detailed design documentation and drawings
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure all designs meet technical and regulatory standards
- Provide support for technical queries and site coordination
- Attend and contribute to internal and client design reviews
Requirements:
- 4 to 5 years of experience in HV/LV or EHV electrical design
- Good understanding of UK DNO standards and electrical infrastructure
- Proficient with design tools such as AutoCAD and Amtech
- Comfortable with a full-time onsite working environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Preferably holds the right to work in the UK
