Quality Engineer
Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to 40k per annum
Nicholas Associates are currently working with an established manufacturing company who are looking to add a Quality Engineer to their Quality Team. Reporting to the quality manager you will be responsible for identifying and reducing the potential risks and defects of components.
The Role:
- The management of non-conformities that occur in production.
- Escalate quality issues to suppliers.
- Chair weekly review meetings of process performance and trend in relation to poor quality output, support investigation and determine actions for improvement.
- Provide supervision to the Quality Inspectors.
- Prepare inspection and test plans and other documentation to support smooth transition to manufacturing.
- Conduct internal audits.
The Person:
- Degree, or equivalent, in relevant discipline
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standard.
- Practical knowledge of root cause analysis and other quality assurance tools and methodologies.
The Details:
- 35 Hours per week
- Salary: 40k DOE
- Early finish Friday.
