Production Operative

We are looking for anProductionOperativeto join a local company in Rotherham who works with raw meat products. This is afull-time, temp-to-perm roleoffering immediate starts for the right candidate.

Pay & Hours:

• 12.21 per hour
• 6am-2pm
• Full-time hours guaranteed

Duties Include:

• Operating automated packing machines
• Physically handling raw meats to load onto machinery
• Ensuring machinery runs correctly for high-quality packaging
• Reporting errors to management or supervisors
• Quality checking orders before dispatch
• Labelling stock accurately for delivery
• Picking orders using paper-based pick sheets
• Maintaining cleanliness and following Health & Safety policies
• Working in a refrigerated environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food production environment
• Physically fit due to manual handling requirements
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Keen attention to detail
• Comfortable working in chilled conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
