GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Job Coach to our client based in Rotherham. The Job Coach will support young people with EHCP's, whilst they are out on placements with employers and assist these students to progress into sustained and paid employment. This is a truly rewarding role that offers the opportunity to really make a difference in the lives of students.

Main Duties of the Job Coach:

* Support young people with EHCP's during their work placements and provide in-work instruction* Provide relevant support to help students develop independent travel to work placements* Work with employers and workplace staff, helping them learn how to support a diverse workforce and increase their confidence in employing individuals with additional needs* Be the first point of call if issues arise during the placement* Ensure administration, which involves, recording and tracking placements as well as learner progress is complete.

Role Requirements:

* Experience supporting students with EHCPs in place* Experience and understanding of making safeguarding referrals* Previous experience of planning, preparing and implement support programmes * Understanding of Additional Learning support in an educational context* Ability to travel to multiple campuses and employer premises around the region
